Become a certified Home Health Aide with our Training program.
Visiting Angels provides a two-week day training program to become a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA). The Visiting Angels 76-Hour course qualifies you as a licensed Certified Home Health Aide! The New Jersey State Board of Nursing approves our program. We assist you with your application to become a CHHA, assisting you through each step until you receive your license.

You are not guaranteed a job and you are not guaranteed to keep your job. You must pass our interview process to get a job and must follow all Visiting Angels policies to keep your job once you get a job. When you join our team, you will be valued and respected.

While completing the program does not guarantee employment, candidates who pass our interview process and follow Visiting Angels policies will have the opportunity to join our team.
To register, please visit our office in person between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Call ahead to schedule an appointment.
Upon completing the program, we assist you with your application to become a licensed CHHA. Once certified, you may apply to join our Visiting Angels team, where you’ll be valued and respected.
Bring all required documents (photo ID, Social Security card, and birth certificate) along with any additional paperwork you’ve been instructed to complete during registration.
Applicants must meet the minimum age requirement set by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing. Please contact our office for specific details.
Currently, our CHHA training program is offered in-person only and requires full attendance for the two-week duration.
